Reflecting on a Remarkable 2025 at Northland Controls

Dec 17, 2025

A Year in Review with Northland CEO, Pierre Trapanese

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s inspiring to look back on a year of growth, innovation, and achievement at Northland Controls. From expanding our global presence to strengthening partnerships and delivering cutting-edge solutions, this year has truly been one of progress and momentum.

We welcomed new clients, deepened existing relationships, and continued to deliver consistent, high-quality service across every region. Our commitment to excellence has never been stronger, and it’s gratifying to see how our efforts are helping organizations around the world manage their physical security more efficiently, proactively, and reliably.

Over the past 12 months, investing in our global teams has remained one of our top priorities. In 2025, we expanded our footprint with new offices in Germany, India, Malaysia, and Japan, and our teams across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas rose to every challenge. Our promise has always been to deliver a seamless “One Northland” experience, and the strides we’ve made in building our teams and establishing a presence in our clients’ key growth regions have only strengthened that commitment worldwide.

As I reflect on the past year, I am proud of the significant accomplishments and milestones that have set Northland up for sustained success moving forward, including:

  • Data Center Expansion: After supporting Data Centers for 15+ years, we officially launched a dedicated Data Center Business Unit to better support the rapidly growing needs of this critical industry with expertise, efficiency, and innovation.

  • BlackBear Labs Growth: Our software development team made significant strides, expanding our software connector library and advancing the clean data and interoperability movement. These efforts are helping us deliver smarter, more integrated security solutions for both end users and manufacturers alike.

  • Licensure Achievements: Securing Low-Voltage Licensure in 24 additional U.S. states strengthens our ability to take on complex projects and serve clients across the country.

  • Industry Leadership: Across integration, consulting, managed services, and technical engineering, our teams continue to set the standard for excellence, delivering solutions that are reliable, scalable, and forward-thinking.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to build on these achievements. We remain committed to delivering innovative, integrated security solutions, providing exceptional experiences for our clients and partners, and pushing the industry forward with new technologies, insights, and capabilities.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and the entire Northland team for making 2025 a remarkable year. Together, we look forward to an even stronger, more innovative 2026.

Wishing You a Happy New Year,
Pierre Trapanese
