Reston, VA—Today, the Northland Controls Reston office occupied new space in response to the company’s continued growth. The new office will allow Northland to double its Northern Virginia headcount.
“This is in response to growing demand for our services and our strategic plan,” says CEO Pierre Trapanese. “The new space allows us to hire additional talent and better accommodates our growing team so that we can provide the level of professionalism we are known for to our clients.”

Northland Controls has been led by Trapanese since 2005. He started with a team of just 10 people and with the adoption of the company’s strong core values. Northland has since become the go-to integrator and advisor for the toughest challenges in the industry. What was once a small team of Northlanders is now more than 250 of the industry’s best, spread out across eight offices around the world. There are plans to expand the existing Rochester office and open a new office in Austin this year.
