Northland Controls Expands Rochester Technology Hub and Global Security Operations Center

Nov 10, 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rochester, NY—Northland Controls, a global security systems integrator and managed services provider to the world’s top high-tech and financial institutions, is expanding its Rochester office in response to accelerated growth and market demand.

The Rochester office is home to Northland’s team of engineers focused on Tier 3 technical support, as well as new security product testing and evaluation. It also houses the company’s redundant global security operations center (GSOC) and future home to a technical training center poised to set the standard in the industry.

“Because companies like Lenel and Bosch took root here, we have always seen Rochester as a security technology center of excellence and a logical choice for Northland’s strategic expansion,” says CEO Pierre Trapanese. “Since we opened the office two years ago, we’ve experienced an increase in demand for the level of engineering expertise and our GSOC as a Service capabilities faster than even we had planned for. Subsequently, we welcomed the opportunity to acquire more space in the same building and expand upon our existing footprint.”

The expanded office will allow the GSOC to double in size while accommodating additional engineers.
