Northland Controls Enhances Offerings with New Office in Rochester, New York

Northland Controls, a global security systems integrator and managed services provider to the world’s top high-tech and financial institutions, opened a new office in Rochester today. This office will be home to a technical training center, engineers focused on product testing and evaluation, and a redundant outsourced global security operations center (GSOC) to accommodate growing customer demand.
“With companies like Lenel and Bosch taking root there, we see Rochester as a growing security technology center of excellence and a logical choice for Northland’s expansion,” says CEO Pierre Trapanese. “We believe the area will allow us to hire highly skilled GSOC operators and create a technical training center that will set the standard for the industry.”
CTO Henry Hoyne says, “This office will be our hub for Tier 3 technical support, as well as new security product testing and evaluation. We now have people dedicated exclusively to these services.”
In little more than a decade, Northland Controls has grown from $1 million in revenue to $80 million with locations all around the world. The company had 10 employees in 2005 and has more than 280 now with offices in the Silicon Valley, Washington DC, London, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangalore, and now Rochester, NY.
