Focused on APAC Expansion, Northland Controls adds Satoru Ono as Country Manager of Northland Controls Japan K.K.

Fremont, CA [September 16, 2025] — Northland Controls is proud to announce the appointment of Satoru Ono as Country Manager of Northland Controls Japan K.K., a significant milestone in the company’s long-term commitment to the Japanese market.

With more than three decades of experience in the security industry across Japan and the United States, Ono brings deep technical expertise, proven leadership, and valuable local insight. In his new role, he will oversee operations in Japan, drive strategic initiatives, and strengthen client and partner relationships as Northland expands its presence in the region.

The establishment of Northland Controls Japan K.K. underscores the company’s ongoing investment in the APAC region and its commitment to delivering advanced security solutions tailored to the unique needs of Japanese enterprises.

Ono’s distinguished career includes senior roles at Security Design Inc., Diebold Enterprise Security Systems Japan Ltd. in Tokyo and Ikegami Electronics (U.S.A.) Inc., where he oversaw CCTV sales and marketing across North America. In 2017, he founded Manhan Corporation, serving as President and CEO and supporting multinational clients through integration, distribution, and consulting services. His client portfolio includes global organizations such as Apple, Microsoft, Oracle, Intel, FedEx, Salesforce, Amazon, and the French Embassy in Japan.
